How does the invitation designing process work? Below are some commonly asked questions.
What is your process?
-First, we connect for a casual 30-minute call to discuss your event details and vision
-If I can offer what you are interested in, we meet again via zoom or in-person if you are local to the Fairfield/Westchester area
-Next, I put together a fully-tailored proposal based off our conversation and your requirements/interests
-Once the proposal is approved, I start designing your dream invitations
-Rather than surprise you at the end of the process, I’ll provide check-ins every step of the way to give you an opportunity to make revisions or give feedback
-Once the design is finalized and approved, we print!
-You can either have your invitations delivered to you or I can assemble and mail them on your behalf
How is working with you different from going to a store and ordering from a book?
When you work with me, the sky’s the limit. Every wedding and event is unique, and we aren’t limited to what you can find in a book. Every client I work with has different styles, budgets, and requests, and we are able to take exactly what you tell us and develop something truly unique and beautiful. Plus, I’ll be able to answer any questions and guide you every step of the way to ensure a smooth and stress-free process.
We just got engaged…when should we meet?
I love to meet clients in person or via zoom 6-8 months prior to their events for invitations. If you are interested in save-the-dates, the sooner the better.
Do you handle assembly and mailing?
Yes! Some of our clients prefer me to handle the assembly, stuffing, and mailing of their invitations. I’m more than happy to do so.
How much do invitations cost?
Typically, clients spend about $3000 and up (based on ordering 100 invitations). But every job is different, which is why I create a custom proposal for every client.
Can we work together on our day of stationery?
Absolutely! I love cohesive design. The design from your invitations can carry through to your events. I print anything from welcome signs, to escort cards, custom cocktail napkins, drink signs, menus, table numbers and escort cards.
What if I don’t know what I want my invitations to look like?
I have a proven track record of knowing what is best for our clients based on decades of experience. Once we meet and talk about your event location, personality, theme and colors, I can help create a dream invitation that speaks for itself.
